Prospective Families

"I love learning here!" -James, Gr. 2

Welcome to St. Dominic School!

We hope that you will choose to become part of our St. Dominic School Family. We offer a full-day Kindergarten.   We also offer a Pre-Kindergarten program for 4 year olds. Our 8th graders graduate from St. Dominic School and are accepted into many of the finest high schools in the area.  Our graduates are assisted through academic scholarships, and many are enrolled in numerous honors coursework in high school.

St. Dominic School provides its students with an integration of quality education and experiences in Christian worship and living through a functional curriculum which addresses all aspects of a person's growth and development in a technological society.  Students are encouraged and challenged to develop their spiritual, academic, emotional, social and physical potentials.  A natural outgrowth of this development is that students become viable, active witnesses to Jesus by hearing the Word in worship, proclaiming the Word in action, actively participating in the community parish lives of St. Dominic and St. Francis Parishes, and committing to Christian service.    (from the St. Dominic School Philosophy, Parent/Student Handbook page 3)

Our academic curriculum is enriched through a separate computer lab and SmartBoard technology in each classroom.  The whole child is enriched through our various programs both during and after school which include:  Music, Band, Mass Choir, Young Rembrandts Art Program through the Bolingbrook Park District, Chess Club, CATCH Kids Club, and Athletics.

Please feel free to contact the school at 630-739-1633 or email the school at shrobaj@stdominicschool.org if you have any questions regarding the school and our programs or if you would like to schedule a tour an appointment to tour the school.
