What we are studying

 

Math	-	Continue to multiply & divide decimals. Introduce fractions .
Science	-	Investigating motion and forms of energy
Literature	-	Skills - Graphic sources - How to use a newpaper to locate information, and how to use a thesarus to clarify meanings and usage.
Social Studies	-	We will study colonial economies & governments. We will begin studying the events leading to the American Revolution and the Revolution itself.
Reading-Grammar	-	We will be studying adjectives and adverbs. We will incorporate these parts of speech into our writing.
Writing	-	We will be writing our first poem of the year, a 5W's poem. They will be displayed during Catholic Schools Week.
Religion	-	We will be studying the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist. We will also be studying how reading the Scriptures helps us to follow Jesus.
